The board of Helsinki Greens has appointed M.Sc. Outi Silfverberg as temporary Executive Director while Maaria Haikarainen takes her study leave 12.9. -31.7.2012. Outi is currently working as Executive Director, a maternity leave substitute, for the Greens of Uusimaa. She has previously worked as Organizations Secretary at Yhdyskuntasuunnittelun seura and as Course Secretary at Planpoint oy, a consultant agency for environmental planning. She also has plenty of experience from different environmental organizations.
